We are currently expanding our team as we prepare to release a major new version of our platform, which will coexist with our current version during a transition period.

Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer at Mogu, you will play a key role in implementing our upcoming new release while maintaining and enhancing the current version of the platform. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and design teams to ensure the quality and performance of our application during this transition period and beyond. Your work will directly impact how travel professionals manage their operations, providing them with a streamlined and effective solution.

You should have a strong background in building and maintaining SaaS applications, with expertise in both frontend and backend development. This role will require experience with our current tech stack as well as the new technologies in the upcoming release.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain: Work on both the current and new versions of the platform to ensure seamless functionality and integration.
  • Transition Management: Assist in transitioning from the current to the new version, ensuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and a smooth user experience.
  • Feature Implementation: Work with product and design teams to translate requirements into efficient, scalable, and user-friendly features.

Key qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-5+ years of full stack development experience, preferably in SaaS environments.
  • Backend Proficiency: Strong experience with Laravel
  • Frontend Proficiency: Extensive experience with React and Next.js
  • Database Skills: Strong SQL skills for designing, optimizing, and managing relational databases.
  • API Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust REST APIs for efficient and secure data exchange (Laravel and Typescript).
  • Real-Time Messaging: Familiarity with real-time messaging services, such as Google Pub/Sub, for efficient communication.
  • Testing Skills: Hands-on experience designing and implementing e2e tests, with a preference for experience in Playwright.
  • Version Control: Proficient in Git, with experience in GitHub for code management and CI/CD workflows.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote environment with strong communication skills.
